| I bought some Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo the other month and only got to use it today....... Thing is it seems to have separated / settled.... There is about 3 inches of solid jelly in the bottom and then the rest of the bottle is just a very watery consistency. I've tried shaking it and it still doesn't mix. The jelly like stuff just floats around then sinks back to the bottom again. To say it's supposed to be a brand new bottle i'm a bit disappointed..... I ended up finding out some of my old shampoo i used as after using some of this there were just no suds at all!!! Is this usual for this stuff.... does it settle or do i seem to have been sent a dodgy / very old item??? Cheers Dave.

| It's probably just cold. When you fill your wash bucket with hot water, leave the bottle in it for 5 minutes to melt the congealed wax, shake and go..

| I've never had a problem with Gold Class but it could be cold or need agitating. Still a wonderful shampoo IMO, if only for the smell.

| I've started using Halfrauds own ( the blue bottle ) If you car is basically 'clean' to start with, imho it's as good as any on the market, costing up to 3 times as much. It beads well, and lasts for ages, or at least until the next wash ( about 3 days.....in my case ) It must be worth a punt at around £8 a gallon.

Megs Hyperwash, Super Shampoo, Chemical Guys Citrus to name just three ![]() I've just ordered 5l of the Hyperwash - going to buy a foam lance and give it a go in that too. The Gold Class is fine, but doesn't seem to create that many suds, and I'm not conviced it feels that slick either... Still, I've used 3 bottles of the stuff now, just thought I'd try some other products. ![]() | |

| No issues here either. It needs agitating properly though.

| Never had a problem with Megs Gold Class, but I've always kept my car cleaning stuff under the sink in the kitchen! ![]() I've also experimented with other brands of shampoo (Megs NXT, Prima Auto wash, etc) But found Gold Class to be a good all rounder. A good tip for more suds, is to half fill the bucket with water from the tap, then use the hose to fill the rest of the bucket. The pressure produces some good suds.

| The only issue I have is the residue left on the glass. Try polishing the glass with a microfiber cloth after washing it.....

| Just a little update - I washed the car with Gold Class at the weekend, and left the bucket full of the wash water in the garage for some reason I emptied it down the drain, and you could clearly see the mikly shampoo suspended in the water - must say I was impressed, and will now be ordering some more! ![]() |
