| I finally got round to puting some mesh on my grille, and no - I dont mean of the BBQ sort :bleh: Anywho, here is the final result at the grand old cost of £13.99 - but I think, and so do some other on here, that it would look better with black mesh. What do you reckon? (Ps, I will do the lower vents when I get some time) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| I haven't voted - the addition of mesh is a good one, just can't decide whether black would look better or not ![]() Steve

| I’ve worked at the home of the Smoggies quite a few times this season, hope we both stay up, but that we finish on top of your lot. I voted black grill by the way. |

| You bugger - I'll have to do mine now - it looks great but I'll be using black mesh so you can guess what I voted.

| Looks good, but I say go black - will suit the generally darker colour of the paintwork anyway.

| Think Black would go better with "Dark Green". |

| I think the grille's mesh is too fine. In the first picture it looks solid, so the effect is like an early Felicia with no grille at all. If you keep it, it'll be a pig to keep clean, so black or anthracite (is that the new grey?) might be best. |

| I prefer it in darker colours. I like the apparent standard of workmanship etc but.... I don't like the mesh itself. It's expanded steel stuff that'll rust as soon as you look at it. If you paint it, first stone chip is likely to a) dent it and b) knock of the paint allowing it to rust. I'm not a fan of "modding mesh" or WTF Halfords sell but IMO proper stainless steel welded/soldered mesh is the way to do it properly. J.
