Default My Results with Autoglym

My Results yesterday before the Newbury meet, washed, polished and glossed with Autoglym. A coat of Collinite 476 Wax (someone on here recommended it) and a light spray of the autoglym wipe n wax stuff. Tyres done with autoglym (can you see a trend here lol) and windows done with the glass cleaner. Wasnt impressed with the autoglymm interior cleaner the dash is a bit spotty where the stuff didnt clean well and looks like a kid with the sniffles has sneezed their grotty germs everywhere.

Now I hope that all i need to do for the next few months is just wash and spray wax

Sorry to get back to the subject of Autoglym, but........

I wash and waxed both my car (Black Magic Fabia) and SWMBO's Yaris with the Aqua wax. I was VERY pleased with the results.

My question is I given I now have only 1/2 a bottle left was I a little enthusiastic with the spray, or is this normal?

Cheers.

it depends how thick you wanted the wax, i just give it a little spray and wipe it in (as if i was using mr sheen on the coffee table) not to thick ut enough so you dont drown the car.

It is good stuff and i dont think you would even need a quarter of a bottle, i expect someone else who does measure how much they use will be along soon to say how much would do a car!! ;-)

Gave the car a quick wash with autoglymm on Friday and whilst washing the water just ran off as if they were french soldiers. The two coats of wax has really worked and the shampoo and water (to wet and then wash off the shampoo) really doesnt want to be associated with the car. Gave the car a quick squirt and wipe with the autoglym spray on wet wax and the car has come up a treat again and al in around 45 minutes (the 3hours previous has certainly paid off).

Tip for doing the windscreen is to use the insect remover spray from autoglymm, spray on and wait about 30 seconds before wiping off. You will get rid of all deposits on the windscreen and it comes up a treat afterwards.

I have one of those Autoglym green cases with loads of bits and bobs inside and as I am a lazy bugger, I very rarely use them, I tend to take it down to Polish Joes for a hand wash, but after reading several threads here yesterday, I felt inspired.

So, I went home and washed (one panel at a time as I always get water marks left) the car, the dried it, then added Autoglyms Super Resin Polish and then buffed.

Was amazed. Going to make more of an effort because looking at it in the car park, it's gleaming.

No, thankyou for inspiring this lazy git My Octy is silver, so thankfully, it doesn't look as dirty that quick, compared to black.
