Default which one should i use?

afternoon all, i removed the alloys to clean them properly using Turtle wax bug and tar remover.

Two and a half hrs later i finished them so they are sorted 'till well after the winter.

my question is,what is a better product to use to make it a little easier next time as the tar spots seemed almost burned on

...some pics of the alloys before and after, plus one or two more!

Smile Re: which one should i use?

I got one of these,

Basically seeing as you now have them clean if you give inside the rims a rub everytime you wash the car now it'll stop the build up of dirt. After rubbing with a brush I always give in behind the spokes a rub with a Sponge....if you keep doing it you'll fly through it

Regarding the tar, Holts Tar remover is brilliant for removing tar. Although I have found theres some black spots it doesn't get off, but I think its some sort of pitting, maybe off the brakes as its a bitch to get off. After the holts give them a good wash followed by a wax, then I tried that Brake Dust Barrier on aswell
