Default Shocked!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to get another gearlever gaitor for my Octy, it is standard plastic jobbie guess howmuch Skoda want for one?....

....57 quid what planet are they on

Does anyone know where else i could get one from? Butts are cheaper but delivery charges negate the saving, or would anyone have a spare one hanging around? (Clutching at straws here )

I have a "leather" gearstick with gaitor attached, but for a furby. You can have it if you can confirm it will fit... Jason probably has a spare too

Alex,
Probably includes the plastic trim bit as well.
Why do you need a new one? If it is the gaiter bit that is damaged, why not try asking an upholsterers to make something - could go for leather.

Alex - if someone can confirm, you're welcome to it. Cost me £20 or so, so I don't know why you're being quoted £57!!

Tried an upholsterer and add a 1 (!) infront of my original figure

The plastic bit it attatches too is not a problem as i have a glue gun

Edit:- Cheers Steve will try to get confirmation

I'll post you my Fabia gaitor / ashtray assembly for a tenner, Alex... and less of the comments about rooboy, eh? He's your little bit of stuff and I want none of it...

If you just want to remove the gaitor from the plastic surround and attach it your car then I don't see a problem. I just don't fancy ripping off the gaitor myself incase I mess it up for you.

How about I send it up for free, for experimental purposes and you can have a sample look / hack and if it's a no-go you can just hang on to it until the trackday or post it back?

What dinner? I could just about stretch to that but any "dessert" would be an extra

Have you rang around any breakers yards, or why not see if a MK4 Golf/Boring will fit it handsome.
