Question Tyre dressing.

I know there are lots of tyre dressings and people have their own favourites, but why are the spray sort supposed to be so bad?, and whats bad about having silicon in the tyre dressing?

Forgive my stupidity, wax I understand but tyre dressing I dont.

Cheers

and ps...I dont need it for the tyres that overhand the edge of the barge....I use proper bouys for that

Found this product test on the AutoExpress website. Might be of help.

I've used the Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing for years and it seems to work well.

Because it's more accepted by society than cross dressing

Dont use turtle wax spray on stuff. It looks great on the tyres but you cant get away with spraying it on the tryes without spraying it on the wheels, drive for about a mile and then have a look at the brake dust that has stuck to the over spray Even wiping it off doesnt get rid of it, you have to wash the wheel thus washing off the dressing on the tyre at the same time! So i would avoid it if i were you!

Default Swissol Pneu

I met a guy at the Porsche show in the summer who was going spare afetr his Pneu ran out - but he got hold of some more from morethanpolish.com who were there and won the Competitors Choice in a big Concours.
My thoughts- for a tenner it has to be worth a go if its this good - you only get what you pay for........
