| Wax should be the last thing you put on, to seal in and protect paintwork, not sure what you mean by gloss? if its a wax then yeah use it last. You can polish your alloys then wax them this will make them easy to clean next time, but you can buy brake dust barrier too if you like. |

In the Turtle Wax Platinum range they do a Precision car wax and a Protective Extra Gloss. The car wax is what it says - the Extra Gloss is a very thin liquid, a sealant which gives extra sparkle and also extra longevity of protection and goes on after (it dries to a light haze so you need to rub it off after). I used the two and now the alloys clean up very easily indeed of brake dust.

| If your serious about keeping your car clean take a look on A world for detailers... at some of the 'how to's'. The people on there are giving really good write up's on Jetseal for alloys, and for your paint as well.

| ag shampoo, chamios and then autoglymm wax, occassionly do the full hog or stick the expensive wax on it only for it to be covered in track dust which embeds into the wax. ![]() |
