I've just found a site that compares website traffic - Alexa the Web Information Company

It appears that over the last few months, we have been more popular than Skoda UK, so a big to Col D and the team.

Wonder if thats what prompted them to revamp their site!

If thats the case then maybe we should sell the cars, as they dont appear to be doing a very good job

Well done to all who use the forum indeed!

Now just link it where you can and we'll be #1 for skoda in google too.

We actually passed 1.5 million page views this month too...that is not hits, that's phyiscal pages opened in a browser by a human being.

This forum is nought without you guys, I might not appear to be around, but I am, well tinkering in the console of the server

I ought to say 1.25 million appear to originate from Devon...and appear to have come in from google when searching for smokey fabia

Well done everyone.

Perhaps Skoda UK should be putting in an offer to make the official UK skoda support forum & members club???

That will never happen due to the negative feed back from certain members

LOL, NTL bought nthellworld, and that wasnt exactly full of praises

Many companies realise if they operate such a support channel, then there has to be transparency.

If the cars are deserving of negative feedback then that's entirely reasonable to post about it here.

I know I'm not going to pretend mine is great just to avoid annoying Skoda in case they want to get more involved with Briskoda.

I'm with him, although I've no issue with having actual problems with the car, it's the way its handled that I do i.e. to admit theres an issue (no bull****), time to get parts in, then making sure that its a permanent fix in place (and any problems with parts is highlighted and fixed, instead of side stepping).
As far as I'm concerned thats where Skoda could get the necessary feedback to improve the service from here. The only customer survey I ever received is after collecting the car, and that's not much good only at that point.

Another way of looking at it is that if people are having so many problems that are not getting resolved then with the help of places like Briskoda they can find exactly what they are looking for and then enjoy there car. So in effect they get piece of mind here.

Yep , I'm realistic in accepting that all cars can have faults , and if they are resolved in a professional and competent fashion that doesn't cause any harm to how they are perceived by the customers.

I had a couple of minor issues with my Mk1 , and while the dealer service wasn't perfect it was perfectly acceptable so I bought another Skoda.

Since then I've had the long running saga of creaking suspension that took a year and 12 dealer visits to fix , and during that I was given the impression that I was an annoyance to Skoda and one of the dealers involved.

It's now a couple of months and 5k miles on and the suspension is starting to creak again , and I'm very unlikely to buy another Skoda.

I may get better treatment elsewhere , I may not. Either way I don't believe Skoda have earned any more of my money.
