Forum emails?

Some forums have an ability of letting the members have an email address and an inbox etc via the website

As in say....youngsyd@briskoda.net

Just looks good, spreads the word etc, and if calling cards are made it will look professional...

Just a thought....!

Hi. This facility is already available for members who choose to take it up

Go into "Control Panel" (top menu line as appears on I think all pages). On left hand menu, click "Edit profile". You then have the option to add 5 contact addresses, e.g. MSN, Skype etc. If you choose to enter one (or more), the little symbol(s) will appear under your name at the foot of the detail box that shows with each post you make.

If you wish to see another person's contact address, click on the symbol under their name, shown in the same way.

Not all members choose to offer personal contact details.

Hi again. Just thinking you might mean a Briskoda email address. This was available, though with forum "build" changes re the software/server (the techie stuff), the facility was discontinued. I think the priority is more on the site itself so wouldn't think it'd be re-introduced short term, though it's not for me to second guess of course.

Yeah Mo the second guess is the correct one!

Its not something i think the site should have it was a random question thats all...

Yes we did offer it. Only a few people took it up and of those only a couple actually used it.

We offered it via a service provided by google; namely the gmail service but at a domain level.

It might be put back into the mix as I explore email options. Partly as it appears pipex don't like us and reject nearly all our mail

So it's a yes we've done it, not at the moment and possibly in the future.

Well due to one of my current e-mails now starting to get bombarded with spam i'd be interested in a Briskoda e-mail address. So count me in as interested if you do start it back up again.
