Location, location, location!

Thought I'd just vent a little frustration on this. Why don't more people state a location in their profile/when signing up??

I appreciate that people are sometimes a little wary of putting down such info, but it needn't be overly descriptive. Nearest largest city etc.

So many of the threads I see and often respond to depend on a location. Someone needs VAGCOM assistance, or the best place to go for something etc. For example, I've just answered one asking about service costs and cambelt changes. I can't really be as helpful as perhaps I could in the first instance, because the OP is unlikely to travel to the other end of the country for a service.

I just seem to be finding I'm asking people 'whereabouts are you?' quite a lot more in posts recently, in order to help....
