| Well, I have been a member on this site since 2005 and a Freedom member for most of that. I personally feel I contribute a reasonable amount to the forum, primarily in my role in the Cat & Fiddle meets I think. I consider myself to be a balanced and level headed individual who doesn't lose his temper very easily at all (as Tom_vRS will verify, in my line of work one needs to be very tolerant ).I would be more than happy to contribute to the moderation of this site - it's the least I could do given what an excellent resource it is. Furthermore, if helping out with the moderation would further help with the smooth running of BRISKODA, then I'm all for it. After all, it's a great place with many active members who enjoy it for it's many aspects and qualities, it just requires a keen eye and a vigilant attitude to deal with troublemakers and/or spammers so as to keep everything running smoothly. ![]() edit: if I were to be chosen, I would happily cover "North West Meets" and perhaps contribute to "Octavia II" and another forum?

| As to regions, this is my next challenge...to make them work, so by volunteering for a region there is a little added zest to that...but most of you do the zesting already so it's a relative walk in the park.

| Hi, I Know I have had a few arguments with people in the past but as it says in the past I have been to a few North West meets and a Maidstone meet. I have organised a North West meet yes only a few turned up. My post count is low I believe in quality not quantity and I am good at observing I observe threads and post if I know if its relevant or I find something useful or funny for the off topic. As I am a Safety Marshal I would be suited for the Motorsport section I now know quite a bit about motorsports now this is my 4th year and I am already upgrading to IO (Incident Officer). I have already been told afterwards to upgrade to Post Chief. Old grading system (Observers). So I probably will be the first female marshal at Oulton to be post chief. ![]() I also have links to czech as other half has family over there and is half czech so any Questions on this I can also answer. Thanks for reading Vikki

| Seeing as Vikki is my wife and I feel she would make as good a candidate as anyone here I am voting for her. Nepotism I know, but there is a reason for this. What most of you may not know is she has definitely done her bit for the site - particularly in the motorsports section. She has been busy as a mature student (going back to uni at 32 took some guts) but she does manage to log on most if not every day. If she is successful I for one would be very pleased as I'm sure she would do a good job. |

| Are we still volunteering? If we haven't been appointed I'm guessing that the positions have been filled - I'm confused ![]()

| As I understand it Colin is slowly working his way through some quite major changes. Not everyone can be or will be offered a position, it simply a matter of logistics and trying to strike a balance.

| I dare say Colin has gone for some food and some shut eye (not necessarily in that order). However, I think if people feel they can add to the moderating team in any way then sure, keep on posting. On the flip side, £12 doesn't guarantee you a red name! I'm sure he'll be along before too long with some conclusion though. ![]() |

Who ever mentioned the £12 and being a Moderator. That comment is so far wide of the mark and quite frankly insulting to the people who wanted to offer something back and were just slightly confused as to what was happening. I hope you will reconsider that comment and post an apology.

), but must admit that I just read Tom's post and have to agree with CM. I to thought WTF, that's not the Tom that I have exchanged many happy posts with in the past, even the "style" of delivery is most "un-Tom" like. | |

| Ok ok, point taken, tone of post after a re-read is rather inappropriate, certainly didn't mean it to read like it does - so apologies indeed. It wasn't aimed at any individual whatsoever, and perhaps I'm reading too much into conversations I've had both on and off of Briskoda itself ![]() I'll keep my mouth shut before I offend anyone else ![]() |
