Default Thread preview bubble?

Evening.

I'm sorry if this has been posted before but as I'm not sure what its called I didn't know what to search for!

Anyway, I'm sure there is a more technical term for it - its the text that appears in a box when you hover over a thread link - does it get on anyone elses nerves?

Not so much that it is there, just that its right by the mouse pointer and it hides other links below it. Is it necessary? Or could it be set-up so that it appears off to the side?

Just thinking (moaning) out loud! Cheers.

Can't say it bothers me, I find it useful

Just leave your cursor in between the thread title and the date, and use your mouse wheel to scroll through the list, see what takes your fancy

Peeps are very different aren't they? On my computer, the bubble doesn't show if I'm not logged in and just want to have a quick look-see re new threads that have arrived. It mildly irritates me that it's not there then...

Mind you, I prefer to be logged in (assuming time allows), since I have thread-viewing set to "Latest post first", which doesn't apply if I view as a guest.

Regards
Mo
