Stiff boot hinges, check umbrella is present, shouldn't be anything other than teh obvious chips and scuffs on a car thats done 6000.

Doesn't seem too bad a price - you have to remember what the new price is new and is the second hand car one as good as new. The 2.5 is the most expense to start with. When I bought my Superb a 2002 2.8 in similar spec with same mileage in 2003 it was in show room condition and had approx 7k off the new price.

-Check condition of ivory mats and carpets they obviously are hard to keep free of dark marks - mine were perfect when I took delivery of mine (and still are!!). My dealer gave me some trade black mats for the winter FOC.

Just geussing but the car will probably have been owned by Skoda Auto Milton Keynes they seem to sell there cars about this milage - mine was.

You could try the AutoTrader site - www.autotrader.co.uk

It makes the whole job of searching for the right car so much easier, and gives you a good idea what the right price should be. Many dealers put their cars on there too, so you get a good choice (particularly if you're willing to travel some distance for the right car)
