Default Baker & Fluffy's tinting day.......pics(56k beware)

Pretty much as the title says I suppose. Myself and Baker21 met at L&M window tinting in Leicster at 9.00am for our Superb's to be tinted. Approx 5 hrs later they were both done and both with 35% tint.

Enyone the pics

I have to ask the obvious Q given the Police crackdown on tinted windows down here.... I think it looks spot on, but how long do you think it will be until Mr Plod makes you remove the front tints?

Off topic, so I apologise in advance. I've been looking at the front lights on my Superb, and cursing the big orange blobs that are the standard indicator bulbs. Looking a those pictures though. even though it's from a distance, you can see in the front end shots the difference between Baker's car (no orange blob) and Fluffy's.

Which bulbs did you go for Baker?

All the Best
Chris

P.S Nice tints by the way.

Well if Mr Plod pulls me over then there is very little I can do but get it removed but I don't think it's too much and I don't see why they would ask me to remove them? I mean it's not as if they are that dark?

I guess time will tell?

I never got questioned in the Pick up on my tints, and that was hardly subtle.

LOL!!!

I was chatting to Fluffy about this on the day and told him that I would source him some for his motor!!

As I work for Hella I can get you some of these bulbs if you require a set, can't remember which ones I fitted but I will look into it at work and let you know, they certainly look a lot better than the blue ones or the standard Amber ones, I think the ones I fitted were silver ones, but legal ones!!

Lets hope that Fluffy and I don't either then.

I think it's more obvious on my car due to the colour?

IIRC, it's a "car bra" that's designed to prevent stone chips...

Trend setter? I doubt it?

I had a Bora before the Superb and spent a lot of time on UK-MKIVS.net, all the guys started buying Car Bras for their Golfs and Bora's, I thought I would get one for the Superb and here it is, LOL!!

If the truth be told it's a modified Passat B5 Car bra from Germany!!
