| Hello... I have just bought a new Westfalia towbar. I recieved this parts: http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/m.../April0092.jpg Aren't there any nuts on the bolts? And where shall the black parts fit? Best regards Frank |

| Frank, in the boot of the Superb on each side just inboard of the recesses for the jack etc are two holes for the towbar mountings. If your car has never had a towbar fitted they will be covered with tape and sprayed body colour, so you may not immediately see them. You can easily feel them. On each side, one hole is threaded at the bottom and therefore just requires a large bolt with a flat and a spring washer. The other hole is not tapped and will require the same washers and a nut - M10 I think. The upper black piece in your picture looks like a bracket for the electrical socket but without seeing the rest of the kit, I can't work out what the other two bits are for. Fitting a towbar to a Superb is dead easy once you have taken the bumper off - remember the rear light lenses have to come off to access the bumper fixings. rotodiesel. |
