| Have had an offer from someone to buy my car … it came a little out of the blue as not actively selling car but hey I’m not one to turn down an opportunity, so for now I’m going with it and thinking about what I could get next.. As some of you know I have derv running through my veins so I do want to stick to a TDI and while a Furby would be a very good choice I think it is that smidgen too small for me. Soo I’m rather liking the idea of a 2.5 V6 TDI Superb at the mo. Just a few q’s about it though… does anyone know … What size wheel hub is on the Superb ?? – Thinking about after market alloys and don’t believe that it is the same at the octy/golf…. What tuning potential is there for the 2.5 TDI ?? – Jabba provided me with some awesome result with the GT TDI and it would be nice to have similar blistering performance from the Superb.. Suspension anyone know how to improve the handling?? The standard setup is amazing on the motorway and A-roads but not so sure about country lane potential. I spend quiet a lot of my week on country lanes - yes I agree that it’s not a country lane car but that could be changing soon… too… Cheers, |

| or 5x112......... No idea about tuning. On the suspension front, as a bigger car than the passat, the specifics might be differnent, but it was suggested to me that I look at the KW Variant 2's or even the Variant 3's for the Passat. if I had the money, I'd get the Variant 2's tomorrow.........and some nice 17"s....... |

| Good choice, - I think the wheels are 112 pcd but the ones I have lloked at have been doubled drilled - see the 18"s in for sale. -I think the figures are more than adequate for a Jabba remap , cant remember exactly but 500 lb/ft seems to ring a bell -KWV3 is the way to go have a read of the Lowering thread lower down the page. Go for the elegance if you can, the extra's over the comfort are worth it -money well spent for xenons etc Sounds like you could end up with the ulitimate "Q" car morgan

| Don't think the economy is the best on the 2.5tdi.If so have you thought about the 2.8 V6 ? Don't know which is the better one to tweak? |

| on the tuning front am sure i've read somewhere that the 2.5 V6 TDi isn't a "PD" unit so the power figures that can be acheived aren't as impressive as the "PD" engines. i stand corrected if i'm wrong thought everyone!!!

| I've seen it posted here that a remapped PD130 will produce very similar results to a tuned 2.5TDI so I'd be inclined to go for the lighter more economical engine.
