| Could be a fault in the switch above the rear mirror. Off/On work, but the "door on" is failing to acknowldge a signal. Wiring maybe....?

| Aren't there three settings on the interior light switches - Always On, Always Off, Courtesy. In courtesy, it should react to the doors opening. If not, then WD40 the switch or use contact cleaner, operate it a few times and see if that makes a difference Last edited by MichaelD; 08-07-2006 at 12:04. |

| Hi all, I have just bought a 2002 Tdi Comfort Superb.. I have a problem with the interior light also.. in that they don't work at all.. whether it's turning them on manual or with the doors open. The vanity lights on the sunvisor mirrors don't work either.. same with the back passenger lights.. I have tried fuses and the connection points at the passenger side of the car and all looks fine.. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks, |
