| ...here: Skoda Superb Shades of Renault from the rear, with touches of BMW? Some significant departures from the historic Skoda design language: black B pillars; new font for model designation; model designation placed centrally on bootlid (as on SEATs); the 'C' shape rear lights dropped, etc

| Presumably be the same as the one in the A6 175 bhp, but I guess Skoda will only hook it up to an auto. |

| As long as they don't go silly with the prices I think it will do well.

| I would expect it to be similar in price to the current range, just that discounting wont be available initially... If they make it much more they would be in danger of competing directly with the passat... |

| Unfortunately you can gaurantee they will go silly with the prices, it's a reasonably nice looking car, unfortunately my previous experience of Skoda means i'll never touch another one. Looks like a Renault Phaeton from the back! |

| as long as its a V8 diesel with 4 motion that might be a good idea, but a petrol V8? That would be madness in this market and I am going to stick my head out and say it will never happen. Plus it is a capital offence these days isn't it? |

| Oooh - gotta get one, one day! That would be sooo tuneable too. If you can squeeze 260 bhp out of a 1.9 a 2.7 would give you about 375bhp and way too much torque - add in a 4WD and you have the ultimate rocket ship! ![]()

| I like it to the B pillar, then it sorta all goes a bit squiffy, I think the rear doors will suit the estate a lot better, and it will have a sort of Signum look to it, have to see it in the flesh before I can give a proper opinion on it's looks. |
