| NB. I said cleaner, I'm a zillion miles away from being able to call myself a detailer. Today I bought one of these.. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_18 8980_langId_-1_CarSelectorCatalogId__CarSelectorGroupId__varien t__categoryId_31443_crumb_33958-33974_parentcategoryrn_31443 Washed the car as usual. Snow Foam. Megs Gold class Shampoo. Two bucket method. Then using the the new polisher I went over the car with Autoglym Ultra deep shine. I had clayed the car a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic result (for a complete amateur that is) got rid of all the swirls that came with the car, which was a demonstrator. “Black Magic” Was just finishing waxing using Megs NXT Tech Wax when it came on to rain. I had the most ginormous beads almost had me reaching for a camera , Lol. Any way chaps thank for all the tips I have picked up here.. ![]() Jenks |

| perhaps next time. I had only finished cleaning the car by about twenty minutes and my beloved was off trying to find every muddy puddle in Hampshire The purpose of my post was just to say thanks for the tips I have gleaned from the experts on here, also to say that at about £20 the little Halfords polisher is a gem.Jenks |

| I had one of these polishers many years ago and to be honest I hardly used it. Got better results by hand. There's just not enough heat generated to break down the polish properly and the size of the polisher is quite big, especially when you compare it to a Porter Cable. As for removing the swirls in the paint, I think you'll find that the AG products contain fillers that hide them instead. If you used TFR or wahsing up liquid on your car and removed the products, the swirls will still be there. But its the easiest and safest way of hiding the marks. I swear by AG Ultra Deep shine on my car, works great using a Porter Cable and a medium pad. Used to top it off with AG Extra Gloss Protection too.
