Default Rattle

Got my car back from having its timing belt done at the weekend, and the car has also come back with a rattle from the front end that it did not have when it went in. Its certainly coming from the front end lower but i can work out what it is. Just wonder if anyone had any ideas?

Its not the plastic under cover, and the exhaust is on fine and tght as I can get to that and touch it. Trouble is its steadily getting worse, and I dont want to be dign an long term damage driving the car.

I've given JBS a shout so hopefully they can get me back in ASAP ad have look and see what's loose. Any one got any ideas on what it is?

cheers

Is the noise in the engine speed or vehicle speed related? You could get a long screwdriver place the dirty end bits of the engine and the handle end against your ear. this will amplify and isolate any noise that you hear. if the noise is coming from the timing cover or engine switch off and get the garage to collect it.

The rattle is during drivng. Bumpier the road, the more its amplified.

Dont try the screwdriver trick then. you dont want to run yourself over.............
Have a look under the bonnet, make sure everything looks secure, look for tools left behind from the repair, thump the undertray from underneath, might be something dropped onto that, spanner, socket, bolt.
