Talking re, leaks

Hi every one, got all the leaks sorted by the dealer. Lost all faith in the comfort, I have now changed up to a 2005, 6000 mile elegance, like the rear folding seats andthe leather. Still only the 130 bhp. would like to try a dragon box. Can the dragon box be removed ie for servicing? So cheers for now. Len:

Dragon box can be removed for servicing. That was why I chose the Dragon over a custom remap.

cost me £250 from ebay (official dealer) or from thier website (www.mrhoot.com) for £275. Puts out around 170 BHP. The install is a little fiddly, but you have to disconnect a plug from the engine and connect it to the dragon box. The lead is a T-shape and one end plugs into the car, another end into the plug that has been disconnected and the last end into the dragon box itself (hope that makes sense)

Will there be no sign of it having been fitted to the car when dealer checks it on the puter at service time

It's not as simple on the Superb as the Fabia or Octavia, due to the engine being longitudinaly mounted, the plug is a right b*stard to get at, you have to remove some of the intake pipework at the back of the engine to get to the plug, I also found I needed to spray some WD40 into the grooves on the plug to get it on too. well worth it in the end but you wouldn't want to be taking it on and off at every service!

If your careful, you can fit it by only removing the plastic engine cover and not pipework. The hardest thing I found was aligning the new plug with the engine connector. Took about 1hr from opening the box to test running the car.

On mine you cannot fit the plug without removing the pipe across the back of the engine, I tried for ages, the pipe is so close you cant even undo the original plug with it in place.

Dont know why it would be any different to yours though? mines a 53 plate 130pd too?
