yes but your new car will depreciate as well. Worked out the sums on my old one and it was better keeping it as a newer car depreciates more. I was amazed how much I got for mine on trade-in. But then we got a dog so needed estate. bummer

True enough. The replacement is likely to a be Citroen C1 or similar Toyota, however. So not so much of an issue. My needs for a large car ends soon. Thanks for the thought.
