Default Side Light Replacement

Hi All,

Had another bulb go on the ol Superb over the weekend, changed it now (it was the other side than before)

Got me thinking, how do you change the side light bulbs on the Superb? Had a look to try and get them out, but could not work out how to do it.

Any ideas?

Thanks

SJ

I niaively thought that instructions for this would be in the Owner's Manual. But I guess it is covered by this Note on page 264: This Owner's Manual only describes the replacement of bulbs where it is assumed that no major complications will arise. Other light bulbs should be changed by your specialist garage. So interior, door, rear and licence plate lights are DIY and the rest are dealer jobs!

They are a bit fiddly, once you have got into the back of the light the holder pulls out and you swap the bulb over.

Yep, just pull it straight out the back, probably be a bit stiff the first time but it'll come out.

Hi.If u are talkin abt the side blinkers , I think u hav to assess thru de wheel well. I did it once to change both bulbs to LED types n then replace de cover to a tear drop tinted Hella type. but tis not easy getting them out n lockin them back in,its secured by a clip type..if u try to pry them frm outside, they might crack n also u risk damaging ur paintwork.
Not easy to take out..Skoda make them Tuff and lasting!! haha

.but if u are talkin abt headlights bulbs..then thats a breeze. make sure ur hands are clean and dry handlin the bulbs n connector pin.
just my 0.02cts.
