| Hi, I've just bought a 3 year old Skoda Superb 1.9Tdi Elegance PD 130 and was diappointed to find that the umbrella is missing from the N/S rear passenger armrest umbrella holder thingy. Does anyone have any ideas of the following: - is it available as an spare part - what the price is - whether I could just shove any old umbrella in the compartment (I don't think so myself, but haven't tried it yet) Also, in the boot on the n/s in the compartment marked First Aid, underneath the CD multichanger there's a sort of compartment with what looks like brass threaded holes for some sort of cover or something. Anyone got any idea what went here ? The car doesn't have a driver's handbook, so I'm fumbling around with the 25,000 knobs & switches in the car trying to figure out what they all do. I've found a handbook on ebay & bought it so that should be here soon, but in the meantime, how to you set the time on the clock ? I've pressed, twiddled & pulled everything I can get my hands on with no success, or is the clock permanently set to Czech summer time ? ![]() Hope someone can help Barny |

| 1) The Umbrella is available from your local dealer for around £35 or you cna find them on Ebay sometimes........ 2) The hole under the CD Changer with the brass threaded holes is for the TV Tuner that bolts into that slot but more than likely your car won't have had this fitted from the factory.......... 3) To change the clock in the dash simply turn the stick closet to the clock to the right and hold it, that changes the minutes and if you turn it to the left and hold it that changes the hours......... Hope that helps............

| I broke my Skoda brolley and got a replacement from M&S for about £15. The brolley is approx. 480mm long which is very similar in size as the Skoda one, and fits in the pocket easily. The M&S brolley is dark grey rather than black and obviously it does not have the badge on the end of the handle. But hey! it works just as well and you could always spend the £20 you saved on a few beers ![]() |
