| I have rediscovered a 10 gallon drum of diesel in my garage. Have not a clue how old it is. I have read elsewhere that fuel octane does degrade with age but I was wandering as to whether it would be safe to mix with fresh fuel in my Superb and if so in what ratio. It would grieve me to take £40 of fuel to the tip!.

| I havent heard of diesel going off. Perhaps putting some Millers in with it should help anyway.
