where is the ECU

Can someone point me in the direction of where i can find the ECU on my car as I need to copy all the numbers and info on it.

As far as i can tell so far its under the black trim on the left rear side of the engine bay.

So if this is the case-

A) how do i remove the back plastic trim without damaging anything

and the trim thats goes around the wipers

B) if its the black box do I have to undo all the bolts to see the ECU itself and where are the numbers/codes printed??

Its in the black box on the o/s of the engine bay under the scuttle panel.

Severl 8mm bolts hold the cover on, the tricky back one is easy enough to get to, there should be a round piece of plastic that pops out of the windscreen trim just above it.
