| hi guys...yep...i done it...after 6 mths of thought...and nearly going for an E-class merc.....na.. went and got myself a NEW superb elegance.... i get it on the 5 oct 05...on a 55 plate ! 3 mths waiting list for this bugger thou ! the spec on this baby was to hard to resist.. compared to the merc....and it was approx £ 12,000 cheaper ! gonna be using it for chauffering nice colors to.......black magic pearlescent, with full beige nappa leather interior... black privacy glass...footrests in rear.. ....color sat nav / tv's built into the rear of the headrests !... dvd/mp3 player and the usual elegance goodies. what a bloody great car for the ££££'s. cost me £17.250 on the road ! but...i am getting one hell of a stick from my mates in the pub..you bought a what ?... a SKODA ...yeh yeh...but this aint no ordinary skoda i tell em...yeh..a skoda is a skoda they say... how thick can these guys be.... i hope its as good as every bugger says it is... ps..its the 1.9 diesel 130bhp..... | Welcome to club common sense. I drove Merc E class for last 6 years until I got my Superb in June. As good a car, with loads more toys and a lot cheaper. In fact build quality is better on the Skoda than the newer Mercs. The other advantage is you don't have to put up with Lord Snooty's gang at your local Merc dealer, and their rubbish service (I am still waiting a call back from their service department - only 18 months now). Take your pub mates out in it and they will see the difference (unless they are badge snobs). |

| Seen one of these in Sahara beige with the leather interior , it looks bril , and would think more than 20k worth of car foe alot less , the 130 bhp engine is perfect as well , have it in my Octy . my next car has to be with the DSG auto though , starting to get lazy . Post a pic when you get it . |
