Hi! - I'm a bit of a noob, but I like the idea of a custom badge for my Octy. Especially the brushed aluminium/ black look.

Do you know if the company you are using would make a one off badge with a different logo to fit the front and rear badges of my Octy1?

Apologies if this has been asked, but I didn't spot it when I sailed over all the posts ;o)

brushed aluminium from the original pic in the first post got canned cos it wasn;t flexible enough to allow fitment :thumbdwn:

It was replaced with a silver vinyl which does the job perfectly.

Custom versions are 100% possible and can be done with whatever you like - however they are slightly more expensive due to being one offs.

drop me a PM with what your after and i'll have a word with them

Hey everyone!

Well, I too have some VERY tastey badges to put on my Octy. I've put the back badge on already and will take a pic tomozz when it's lighter. They look ace!!! But - now I've seen how good a black coloured grill looks - I'm thinking I might get that done first, before I add the front badge on.

I asked Cliff for something specific (not a Skoda logo) and I have to say I am THRILLED to bits at the quality of the result!

I haven't been on the forum long - so this is fantastic ;o) Thank you Cliff - I urge everyone to take up this great offer!

yes 60mm is possible just slightly more expensive than the 55mm ones due to their larger size

Here you go folks, new badges fitted today. Figured I'd post pictures as per tradition.

For anyone interested gently wrench the old badge off with crowbar/explosives, heat the glue residue with heat gun (the Mrs Hairdryer will suffice) and peel off the old gunk (furniture polish left to soak for 30 mins will help to remove), wipe clean with a good solvent and apply new badges. A Mk1 Superb has badge dimensions of 88mm front, 92mm rear.

Postage time was really quick and badges seem to stick pretty well once the surface is prepared and clean with solvent. I used isopropryl alcohol (tape head cleaner) but nicking some of the Mrs's nail polish remover may be just as effective.
