New colour for my 18" Zenniths

Featured Replies

I'm considering getting my wheels refurbed. If I'm having them stripped and re-powder coated anyway, I've been wondering about going for a different colour. I think anthracite looks too dark with race blue paint and makes the wheels look small. I stumbled upon this lighter grey on the web just now and I think it would work quite well. What do you think?

ithink that would suit it really well. would love to do it on mine

What a lovely Honda

Could have parked a little nearer the kerb though ;)

Like that shade too; suits the car and paint very well. Worth doing some investigation and getting the paint code used; then you can be sure the finish will be exact.

thats some strange body kit you've got on your vRS, where did you get the wheels from? :P

Serious note, which Honda is that? Accord type R or something? sorry for my insolence, I just don't know anything about jap cars

Colour of those alloys looks great. When you get the paint code let us know!

How bizarre I saw one of them just that colour last night in Finavon on the A90.

Darker alloys

JDM spec, as Chris says - stands for Japanese Domestic Market, so not officially sold here. Probably one of Lichfield Imports sales that one :)

Lovely motor, and more power than our CTRs. Quite a bit of cash though....

Not really sure how to go about getting the paint code as the car's not sold here. Maybe Lichfield or one New Era Imports could help.

Someone on Honda Integra Type R Owners Website might be able to help.

Chris (SkodaLover) who posted above is a member on there.

FFS, I tried to register on that board and couldn't get past the CAPTCHA on the registration process - it's brutal, like trying to do a stereogram. I'll PM Chris and ask him if he'll ask on there on my behalf. I think the paint is NH-546M, Kaiser Silver. I'd just like it confirming.

Car is in having the wheels done today. Sorry to SkodaLover for having him check out the paint code on the honda forum and then not using it after all, but as it turns out I've had a change of heart on the colour. I've decided to buck current wheel colour fashion. I guess I can always get them done again next year if I get bored of them.

Photos at 6 ! :)

Only managed to get a few pics on my phone driving home. To be honest, I've got mixed feelings about them. I think I'm really going to regret not having them clear coated. I think the bare, flat silver is going to be a nightmare to keep clean...

So there's no lacquer/clearcoat to the finish? Have they been polished? Sorry, can't really see from the pics.

And the last one looks like you've got marks on the spokes?

Steve

It's still not too late to get a dark lacquer on them.

Same colour as those wheel bolt caps would've been my choice of colour ;) ......... these don't look any different to standard imo :o
