Trade Parts Specialist (TPS) prices

Featured Replies

Yes looks like your right as the lower is trade excl VAT.

It is the higher price, but neither inc VAT so you still need to add the VAT to the higher one. The lower is for people in their parts club, which is people with trade accounts i imagine. On page 2 in the little green box it says all prices exc. VAT

i love TPS lol, i didnt realise they dealt with public. i thought you had to be in the trade to but off them?? hence the name?

I've been looking at the TPS catalogue at http://www.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk/pdf/PartsNews/IMTTPSUpdateGuideMayjune09.pdf

They give two prices for each part. Which do they charge walk in customers for over the counter sales? I'm guessing it will be the higher one

Are TPS still alive and well? I just tried this link to their site and got an error message - could not connect to trade part specialist database

please can you let me know

many thanks

Lee

yer they are we buy off them at work all the time

i have a non trade account with tps, which is the same as a trade account except it has no credit facilities..I get all the promo discounts and special offers on bulk buys etc, they quite often do crazy offers on engine oils and workshop consumables.

I thought they only dealt with the trade. Can a "normal" member of the public buy from them?

Yeah walk in customers are welcome and served.

Yeah open to the public, I go in there so much that they all know me by name in the Portsmouth branch :wonder:

A mate of mine has one of these. Every now and then he lets me get bits using his account, gotten some decent savings out of it!

Used the one in Strood (medway towns) for the first time this week. 2 Motor factors supplied me with a inner cv boot which did not fit, despite what their systems said. TPS Got me the correct skoda part for only £10 that the after market one which did not fit. Very impressed.
