any info on options, for example can you get the off-road function on the 'S' spec 4x4.

I take it all 4x4 come with ESP?

Prices seem pretty good to me.

I am especially pleased to see that Skoda UK have (for a change) made all of the engine range available right up to the top spec elegance. 1.2 TSI Elegance makes getting the top spec quite attainable!

Hmm, great post - it would be perfect if it had the options and option pricing on it also

Looking at that list, it looks like the panoramic roof ISN'T standard on the Elegance, contrary to a previous post. :( Thats one option I'd definetly be after. Looks like a 170 4x4 Elegance may be on the cards towards the end of the year; may wait to see if DSG will be announced for it at a later date however.

Is there any date & price set for the 2.0TDi CR170 4WD with DSG or the Scout versions by any chance?

I quite like the price of a 2.0TDi CR170 4WD, but I might hold back until the DSG version comes available or a bit longer for the Scout version, it seems that the idea of a Octavia vRS is not quite so appealing after all.

This is one of the grids that didn't show in the first post. As you can see the DSG will only be available next year, and the 140 DSG not until build week 22, which is June!!

Oh well, that's OK by me because it'll give me time then to pay off the remaining loan on this car, however it may mean a rethink on having a Yeti or going back to square one & thinking about the vRS!

This is exaclty what Ive been trying to get my head around. What will the Scout offer that the standard Yeti doesnt have? More plastic cladding ala Fabia Scout? Weird marketing decision imo.

I dont think there would be a scout. I think that's speculation on some peoples parts.

Oh Yeti Scout was mentioned by a jurno in one of those video reviews Channel 4 I think. Also I'm sure there was another jurno sometime back mentioned it following an interview with someone from Skoda at the Geneva launch.

If they jack up the ride height anymore like with previous Scouts it will put the LR Defender to shame.
