MIVW 12/07/09 - Leiden, Holland

Featured Replies

This weekend I travelled to Leiden in Holland for the MIVW show.

Had a fantastic weekend, really good show and a good road trip to go with it!

I've got a handful of photos, not the best, but I just snpped a few as I wandered around.

Starting with the Skodas:

And finally, I couldn't get a good image of this inside the hall, but found it back at the hotel afterwards. Easily one of my favourites from the show:

Flipping heck Si there was some serious competition there, the Skoda's look good and I don't like the Audi wheels on the A5 let alone the Skoda, the S3 wheels look spot on though...........

You've done really well to win out there and fair play, worth all that effort hey?

Some serious other metal there, I reckon that show looks better than ED38?

How did you manage to get inside?

Some gorgeous cars there. I like the superb, the scirocco and the passat ccs. Paintwork looks great on that Lupo.

Yours looks fantastic. That swissvax did the trick then. Congrats!

Agreed, the A5 wheels on the Octy are horrible.

Yeah I'd say it's better than ED38, though I think part of that was the road trip and the huge number of people staying at the hotel too. Was just a fantastic weekend. It was great to see cars from all over Europe: the UK, Ireland, Spain, Austria, France, Belgium, Holland and Poland to name a few.

We got there quite early to get inside, although apparently if your from the UK they always try and squeeze you inside anyway

I love that blue Octy II with the A5 wheels! Smoooth, and that grey Passat CC...
