Both of us want to come but someone was kind enough to key my car in the supermarket car park on Sunday just gone, front to back, lovely area I know. Car is in the painters and finishers still while they try and fit it in and I dont think the Aygo courtesy car is going to cut it!! Hope to catch up with everyone at the next run or Castle Combe session if one comes up again.

Whereabouts was that Skoda graveyard? Also, were they all Skodas or were there other makes as well?

Some of those older Skodas should be restored and put on display in a motor museum somewhere perhaps.

It's on the main road out of Bridgwater which goes to the northern junction on the M5, "A38 Bristol Road" not the one where Bridgwater services is. The frontage is a van hire place just before a petrol station. Mainly Skodas but quite a few other bits & bobs too.

Searching for "Broads road bridgwater" on google maps should find it. That's the road behind the place, nextdoor to Bradfords Building Supplies.

I think it would be quite cool to have a voluntary day spent there with secateurs, armoured gloves, bowsaws etc, to try and recover lots of these motors from the undergrowth.

Hmmm. That gives me a good idea. How about a Briskoda motor museum? Not a big barn of a place but old Skodas in one part and motors from other manufacturers in the other. Could be good fun, staffed by members of this board.......
