My new Silver vRS Hatch facelift pics

Featured Replies

Well I finally collected my new motor today after what has seemed like a very long wait (ordered 24th June). A big thank you to Anthony & Alec of Hobin Skoda Manchester who have made this purchase a very simple and pleasurable one

Here are a few quick pics..........

Oooh, very nice indeed. I really like the silver, think thats the colour I would go for now...I believe the statement is in the understatement if you know what I mean...

Enjoy your new toy!

ATB, Jon.

Very nice. I think the FL works particular well in silver, having seen those photos. The front end looks great. Suits it much more than the original Mk2 IMO.

Nice! Will keep an eye out for it, don't think I've seen an FL locally yet and you're not too far away.

Steve

Very nice. have you got sunset glass?

Looks awesome! Hope you enjoy it!

Looks very similar to one I saw in a bodyshop last week!:P

WOW,

The facelift looks awesome in silver. Very nice mate!

Im questioning my decision to go with Anthracite Grey now (silver was second choice...)

Skoda tint the windows for you or you get it done yourself??

What % tint is that, looks good.

thats the best FL one I've seen - silver suits it the best !

I am getting one off santa ,,or two ,, great looking car

V.nice! colour coded grill and the A5 wing mirrors would make it perfect, and maybe anthracite alloys!

Great looking car, colour really suits it well.

Can you tell me if your LED daylight running lights had been set up when you collected the car, enabling you to have them either on or off - or do you also have to go through the dealership via VAGCom rigmarole for their activation ?

Brill in Silver. Just changed my Silver Octavia II, to a FL model like yours but in White.

Really impressed so far. but I do have a question for you

I've just bought a Brand new Skoda Octavia VRS (59) and when you drive the car the running lights come on automatically and look very cool. The problem I've got, is when I switch my Side lights on the running lights go dim and the side light bulbs which are situated in the top part of the new Headlight Housing wont light up. I've been back to skoda and they tell me this is what should happen.

how does this really work ???

I personally think that when you switch the side lights on the running lights should go dim and the side light should come on just like the back one do.

any help would be appreciated

Ta

Chris

Very nice indeed, liking the Silver, thought about that for mine but had too many Silver cars so went for Race Blue, wish mine would hurry up though.

Also finally nice to see one thats had its suspension blocks removed so no 4x4 look :D

Love it

Looks very nice, I agree that it looks brilliant in brilliant silver (but then as I've just got my FL Elegance in the same colour I might be biased :))

I was just thinking that..the ride height looks a lot different on this one!

it looks superb by the way...mine cannot come quick enough!

As others have said, very nice. It's going to be a silver one next time I think...in about 2.5 years time.

Luuuuuush!

Thanks I'm gonna try and make it to one of the meets at the Fox sooon :)

No sunset glass is not available as a factory option on the vRS hatch. I have the Skoda Sunblinds fitted and they appear to be very good quality

Yeah yeah....I wondered why the paint was still wet ;)

The colour was a tough decision for me, I was split between the Blue and Silver. Decided on Silver because I think it's more of a Q-car and the Blue is becoming quite popular :)

Yes the LED daytime running lights were already activated when I collected the car. I have not come across any settings for this in the Maxidot yet. In fact I have only noticed the usual info on the Maxidot such as avg speed, fuel consumption etc I haven't had a good play with it yet or read the destructions on how to display the various settings on the Maxidot.

Sorry I can't help you on this but it does exactly the same on mine. Spent a few mins with my mate this afternoon trying to get the small lamp at the top outer edge of each headlamp to light without success. Maybe popping back to the dealer tomorrow so I'll ask then and report back any useful info

I think I have seen the first ever FL I would want to own! Silver really suits the lines of the car and the headlights merge better with the bonnet if that makes any sense due to the colour, oh and those 18" Neptunes :thumbup::thumbup:. Lovely car.

One word... Stunning

Thank god I ordered mine in silver......2 weeks to go Wooo Hoooo!!!!!

Anyone know of any cheap insurance companies???

One word... Stunning

Don't even think about it - you've got your remap coming soon ! ;)

And, yes, it's a super looking car, albeit a bit on the pale side for my liking :D

looks great but are the seats the same as the pre-facelift? they look the same, I was hoping for different ones.

AFAIK they are the same as the pre-facelift except for the updated vRS logo on the seats
