Not sure what stage mine is at - Wk45 went to Wk43, then it was to be built within 10 days at the end of Wk43 - which meant the beginning of Wk45 (ie this week) but no news yet. Apparently the Skoda vehicle tracking system is having a makeover and so probably no more news until next Wednesday - today it was saying mine is slated for Wk48 build but so is one that's already at the docks waiting for a boat... Confused you will be - I am!

Only consolation I suppose is if she's not built as yet you should get the engine update JonA mentioned. Mine has the original CBDB 140 engine. Will be well worth the wait especially with the 170 under the bonnet.

I've just cancelled my company car order of a Golf 6 GT TDi - taking the cash and buying a Yeti instead.

Think you made a wise choice there. Yeti and Golf SE I think are around the same price with the TDI 140 engine but you get 4x4 and a better view for starters with the Snow-monster.

The 'missing options' must have been a big disappointment. Getting the 'new' spec engine will be an advantage just hugely jealous of all Snowmonster owners!

Allams have spent the last few days trying to find out more info but all attempts have been thwarted thanks to the tracking system change over. I shall be patient. No really, I will. Honest. Well almost...!

Been and ordered mine today - 1.2 tsi Elegance - 2wd - metallic silver, sunroof, spare tyre (like its owner...), and TPMS.

Hi All, first post here. Just placed an order this weekend for a Yeti 140 TDI Elegance in Brilliant Silver, with a Panoramic Sunroof, Silver Rails and Parking Sensors. Spent sometime considering options, still not sure if I should have gone for the upgrade 12 speaker sound system. The only information I can gather is that as well as the extra speakers an amplifier and equalizer is also included. Any thoughts here as to its quality?

Anyway, my initial test drive impression is the level of sophistication from the suspension - the damping was especially impressive. This, the interior cabin, just a nice place to be in and smooth power delivery from the new CR 140 engine made it 1st choice.

Just want to take this opportunity to say thank-you to all members for the invaluable posts made. Without this forum's knowledge, I'm not sure if I would have purchased a Yeti. Anyway, now I have a 9 week wait.

Thanks!!! it took me ages to make the decision..... Looks like me you picked a solid colour I got fed up with metallic cars and the price for it seemed too much.... Yes you are right though the first time I drove the car the negine didn't seem as good as my Octavia but the second time the engine seemed a lot lot better

Ordered a 1.2 Ambition with panoramic roof, in Corrida Red (thanks to The Plumber!). Silver -gray interior (doors and lower part of dashboard). The dealer offered a leather upholstery. Delivery end of January. I guess i will read the manual many times since then -).

Test drove the self parking Yeti 2 ltr (140 bhp) Elegance At Mitchells in Chester. Then Walked away owning it. I pick it up on Tuesday. Show me a muddy puddle to play in!

A 1.2 TSI Adventure 4x2 in Brilliant Silver.

Built week should be 49. Hope to collect my snow monster before the end of december.
