Nice - but where are the pics of the leather ? :)

Please disregard my previous post

Leather looks good, but the centre rear seat back looks a bit uncomfortable - then again I've never sat in the back of my pre-facelift model

very nice mate - makes my 54 plate vrs look so old!!!

Got so bored waiting for the car to turn up (18 weeks) that I ended up on Superskoda. Got a couple of minor trim bits for the interior as well.

Thanks for that, was looking for decent quality pics of the leather, they are perfect.

Cannot wait for mine now..............

Sorry - couldn't help noticing your sig - shame you didn't spec many options

Nice dude! I kinda wish I'd gone for the full leather now, as the grey alcantara(or whatever it is) inserts in my part leather might start looking tatty pretty quick!

Gotta love the Columbus satnav system tho, but at 1500 quid it was a little expensive!

Very nice guys! Loving the full leather:thumbup:

Thanks for the comments. Even Babs likes it, even if it is a diesel!

Some comments:

Engine is so much more refined and smoother that the PD unit. It lacks that initial punch, but after that it is more linear in its response. It doesn't feel any slower (within the constraints of running the car in). The PD engine can be a bit 'clunky' in traffic, and the CR engine is much better.

They have also changed the door seals and the door mirrors, coupled with the engine, makes it a lot quieter.

I'm glad I went for the leather as it was a shame they didn't change the seats at all for the FL. I like the new dash with its white lighting; it is very clear and easy to read.

The new stereo is also an improvement and sounds a lot more punchy. However, it is a pain that the volume knob is now of the left hand side of the unit and miles away to reach. Why aren't steering wheel controls standard, or at least an option on the manual vRS? :thumbdwn:

The ride feels a bit harder. The steering and the gearchange feel a bit lighter, but this may all be due to the car being new.

I love the new front end and the DRLs.

Generally they appear to have tweaked many parts of the car and made a whole host of improvements.

It is now the car that I really wanted when I originally got my PD vRS :D

Very nice indeed.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get in trade in?

Congrats mate.

Lovely car. Are the VRS badges on the seat height adjust standard?...cos they look cool!! I'm now going to phone the dealer to see when mine arrives...dribble! :-)

Nice colour..my second choice...have gone for Anthracite....with leather seats...pleased they do look so good!

They are about £16 from Superskoda, or you can get cut-out versions on ebay for £9.99 (which I've got :))

that looks the dogs! leather looks great too.

Is that southport seafront by the way?

I thought it looked like the North West...Lytham St.Annes..Southport??

My money was on Southport before I got to these posts!

Love the car.
