That's it,
I've got the call yesterday evening, as of today in one and a half hour, I'll be at the wheel of my brand new Yeti Ambition 1.2 tsi.
Cuddos to Skoda Israel to be able to deliver 10 days before schedule.
Now I gonna have to run in the beast, and since it is the first time I buy a brand new car, I am to refer to the wonderful thread published in this forum.

Photos to follow.

Here is the first photo, The Yeti is a bit dirty after 380 km in the rain.

I thought to honour the British origin of this forum, by picturing it next to a Centurion tank, the famed british MBT.

The breaking in is going smoothly, living in the Golan, with very steep slopes to climb, it has been a bit challenging not to kick the little 1.2 TSI with it's manual gear.
I haven't noticed any specific noise (some complain about the wind noise, I won't)
Beside that, the beast feels like it is mounted on rails, it won't budge in the virolos and has a beautiful handling and ergonomics.
I feel like I gonna love this car.

After 9 months eventually got my Yeti, 140 ps CR Diesel, 4x4 Elegance, Cappachino Biege, with off road pack, heated windscreen, space saver spare. Now with winter tyres, no holding me back. Just need some snow!

Hello Yeti owners,

Picked up my Yeti 1.4 TSI SE last Tuesday. Black Magic with spare wheel and Amundsen Sat Nav.

After writing off my Octavia VRS just before Christmas I had to sort something out quickly. Would have been another VRS, but decided to try something different. I'd been looking at the Yeti for a while and test drove a 1.8 TSI a few months ago which impressed me.

Looking forward to enjoying the Yeti.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the forums - they're any invaluable source of information.

Nickel.

Today I picked up a Yeti 170 Elegance in Silver replacing Octavia 140 Estate which I had for over 6 years. The Yeti is reassuringly familiar in many respects and a definite improvement in others.

Many thanks to the forum members whose posts helped me to decide to buy the Yeti and taught me some of its mysteries. Plenty more to learn though.

Living in Italy in Riva del Garda after having moved from Cape Town where I lived for 40 years.

Just received my Yeti 2.0D 4x4 140 in dark metalli grey....I love it!

Previously owned a 2007 Subaru Forester 2.5XT ( great car but fuel here in Italy is too expensive for such a beast!)

I'm chuffed to bits with Skoddy.
Out and about this afternoon. It'll be a while before there's any fruit hereAttached Image: IMG_0192.JPG

Starting to build up the revs now. Only being going up to 3000 until now.
