How much does the following engines rev @ 70mph?

1.2 HTP

1.4

1.4 TDI

1.4 TDI Greeline

The 1.2 12v revs at about 3500 rpm at 70mph which i would imagine the other 1.2 would as well. There still seems to be enough poke to go a bit faster and it doesnt seem too loud.

1.4TDi greenline, at 70mph in 5th is just under 2K RPM. This will be less than the standard 1.4TDi due to the greenlines longer gearing.

I seem to remember the 1.4 16V doing around 3200rpm at 70 on the test drive... it is definately a fair bit less than the HTP.

That's correct for the 1.4 16v. It's pretty good on the motorway.

On the 1.4TDi it is 2,500 rpm at 70 mph.

Agreed , Seat Ibiza 1.4TDI fitted with the BNV 80bhp Engine remapped by custom code also sits at 2,500 rpm at 70mph

On my 1.9TDI (estate) it seems to be about 2,300rpm at a Sat Nav calculated 70mph (speedo is showing 74mph at this speed). At a speedo indicated 70mph it's about 2,100rpm
