Mpg - - -

What is the reading on the information system (no maxidot) that just shows:

MPH

- - -

The placeholders for numbers never change to numbers, so what is it supposed to be showing me?

cos I am a dumbass.

It's normally only shown on mine when stationary or if you lift the throttle off when going downhill. When driving mine shows me the MPG. With cruise on on a flat surface, the numbers will become stable and you can see what affect on MPG turning the air con on has for example :)

My bad, I meant "MPH".

Doh.

I asked the same a while back. You can preset any maximum speed you like- if you go above the speed you get a bong and a flashing indication of the maximum you preset.70 ish mph in my case ;) It is in the handbook or if you search for my earlier post. I do not use the facility much as I use the cruise control.

Thanks (done) I found your thread, any chance you can elaborate what wild monkey button prodding is required?

Select the MPH view with the rocker switch on the end of the stalk. Press the reset button once (below the stalk) this will set the warning speed that you are currently doing. Do it again and then use the rocker switch to raise or lower the indicated speed. That speed will be memorised. Repeat until you get it right.

If you then select the reminder speed again and want to delete it, press the reset button and --- will be displayed. ie not set to display any warning speed.

Repeat as necessary while eating a banana:rofl:

Cheers. I was never going to get anywhere with the car on the drive trying to set it to 80 was I, except perhaps the back garden via the garage door, garage back wall and house.

Sounds like it might be useful.
