An option/feature of the Elegance only I think.

If you look, you should see fuse spaces for all sorts of things it doesn't have, like an auto gearbox etc.

There's an American washer heater which electrically heats a squirt of water. This looks good and better than just the jets. $99.

I can't find a UK equivalent. Has anybody come across this device?

Merry Christmas HO HO HO, in UK I think that its a lot easier just to use the correct level of screen wash additive and maybe for belt and braces have heated washer jets. In USA where the temperature gets quite low every winter, they would benefit from using heated fluid just to keep it fluid - but not here, lots of heat exchangers have been targeted at us in years gone by but what is the use if the spray nozzles are frozen?

There are other tricks to keep the screen wash flowing, like extending the tubing and coiling it around the top hose of the radiator so that you get a stream of warm water which un-blocks the jets and cleans the screen more effectively too.

I had a VW Transporter a long time ago that never had any problems with screen wash icing up, simply by locating the storage bottle inside the cab rather than under the bonnet. So simple and so effective.

Excellent idea about wrapping the tubing around a rad hose emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Good ideas folks. Many thanks. Seasons Greetings to all.
