Very nice. Loving 7/365 of the ratchet. What camera are you using?

Some good pictures, and a great idea. I'm stealing it :D

I wish I had thought of this, but it’s too late now :(

My dad did something similar of a bridge in some woods (well that was his excuse) only trouble was for about 8 months of the year, the view look more or less the same green overgrown mess :D

Thanks Rob :)

Nice shot of the boost gauge!

I've wanted to do a similar shot of mr VRS rev counter for ages but don't think i have the reveleant equipment to keep the camera still enough while the derv lump revs and vibrates the whole car!!

Also going back to the shot of the socket set as a relative digital SLR noob how do you get the defined focus on such a small area and blur the rest?

If i use the marco feature i just get the whole picture in clean crisp focus! grrrr!

Assuming its tweaks to the apperture or focus settings?

Set the camera in aperatura mode and set the aperature to the lowest number it will go to. Set the AF-area mode to "single area" and set the Metering to "spot" and focus on the part you want in focus and the rest should be a oittle out of focus.

Hope that helps mate :)

Awesome thank you.

I thought it must be something along those lines but more than motorsport photography and holiday scenery i've not really experimented!

Looking forward to the remaining 300+ pics!

Good idea - some nice shots there

There are some really good pictures here

Really sorry to hear your bad news :( The same thing happened to me last January, which strangely enough is what prompted me to start a 365 project last year. I just made it into 3 figures before I gave up, which was more to do with work commitments than anything else as I got a new job a few months in. I regret not carrying on with it though. I know how much of a challenge it is, and it certainly makes you look at things differently! Best of luck to you and hope everything works out.
