So the controversial anthracite Zeniths (18 x 7.5J ET51) have gone, and been replaced by a set of gloss black Pro Race 1.2's (18 x 8J ET45), and so have about 2.5 kg per corner

So it's time for a new vote

The zeniths for me mate , too black on the others , paint the bolts black as well i think

The anthracites are quite subtle, but the gloss black :no: (imho)

heard some good things, supposably for every kilo you lose on unsprung weight( brakes, alloys suspension etc) it is the equivalent to losing 4 and 6 times that amount of weight off the body of the car.

so if thats 2.5kg/corner 10kg totoal, thats the equivalent of losing 40-60 kilos from the car.

Another comment, it is either the black paint or the wheel type, but it makes them look a lot less than 18".

Another vote for the Zeniths in anthracite. The gloss black TD's make the brakes look puny imo.

I'm being honest, but I'm not too sure Bryan :think: . They would look better If the tyres were dressed & they would also look better with a little drop on the suspension, but the jury's out with me. It might be a case of looking better In the flesh, so I'll have a good look at the Snipe meet

I'm absolutely ecstatic - the weight really does seem to have made a difference, but I'll try them on a longer over to the coast tomorrow

And when I've lost a couple of stones it'll be even better

Not liking the gloss black either. Suppose you will get away with it with tyre shine applied. Would've stuck with the 18 Zeniths.
