Resetting the variable service on Mk1 octavia RS

lol

cheers for this Fatty, your a star.

The dash panel coding specifies the servicing regime. The second from last digit should be a 1 for variable or a 2 for fixed. Check that the dash panel coding is correct for the servicing regime that you want and use the SRI reset function and you'll be sorted.

HI

I had a 05 VW Transporter last week for service when i reset the service indicator It did not give me the drop down list to change any of the data. I e-maild ross-tech and they want aa scan on the system to see why that was.

I will post the outcome if any one is interested?????

Possibly to see what interface / software you are running.

Possibly to see what interface / software you are running.

It has nothing to do with the interface, It has everything to do with seeing what revision the hardware and software are. Yes we will also know what interface and software interface is in use but I think the module data is far more important to us than is which interface and software is in use.

any luck Dave?
