Oil catch can

as per my other post my oil breather pipe has split :) so think its a good time to get a oil catch tank ;) been looking on ebay and the forge website and they are all 10 or 15mm am i right in saying us 1.8t boys need 19mm pipes? if so where have u guys got yours from? a chance for you to do some engine bay picture whoring B)

Nice and simple, and more importantly it has 19mm inlets/oulets.

No UK importer, so you have to get it shipped or do a group buy like Jay did.

Plenty of pics floating about, just search for Saikou Michi.

and it works bodge not like the other crap lol

not cheap that tho, at $100 + why not have a look at places like alifab and otheres in the uk, also a lot of motorsport places will have decent size ones..stage 3 eh ;)

Anything to show pics, here is mine which is the same as the OCC link mentioned, I recently changed the mounting bracket(not shown in pics) to make a better position away from the Top rad hose.

p.s bowders get some 3mm silicone in blue i will do the n249 bypass when yo come down meant to be good

is there any reason why i carnt leave the engine covers off like u guys? and get polishing? B)

does anyone have the sizes and dimensions of the catch tank inc inlet/outlet sizes please..

do it mate get it clean and it looks brilliant but as soon as its dirty it looks crap

i shouldnt see why not if i can find some standard to give him so he can use them as a guide i shall have a word when im bk home and see what i can sort maybe a group buy if enough interest. i will let u no as soon as ive spoken to him. i do no he already supplies a major manufacturer with tanks and things but cant remember which 1 it is B):thumbup:

ild like to no a price for a catch can lol will ask my mate who owns rs fabrications but he ent cheep the tight git :D

will get cleaning when i get me new pipe liking the blue idear at the min as if i get the tip and a front mount they normally blue :)

just emailed him bout the catch tank and other bits so will just wait to hear the outcome and let you no. if he does require coolant tank i will pm my details before i leave to go home so its there ready to just take straight to him, cheers :thumbup:

Got some already.

Might do the seconadary air pump first....

the best thing to do is both at the same time and completly remove the lot not just blank pipes off when you pop down i will show you on the engine thats out of the car so you can see what need to come off its really easy.( when engine out lol)

will 4mm be ok i will be doin mine and have plenty of 4mm left ova from my dv and boost gauge :)
