Been browsing the forum for a couple of days now, thought it was about time i said hello to all... I am now in the market for an Octavia vRS, looking to spend as much below 3k as possible.

My car until last wednesday was a K04'd Audi S4 2.7T, that's when the cambelt decided to fail - it was an early start to a miserable weekend. So here we are, having sold the beast i now desperately need a replacement car, have decided to stray away from Audi's and high maintenance costs for a while, am i correct in assuming Skoda maintenance should be considerably less?

So, anybody out there looking to sell their car, please let me know, im especially drawn to the WRC version, looks really good in white, may stretch the budget if the right car came along, but being conservative i dont want to spend more than 2.5-3k.
