faulty wipers

Featured Replies

keep getting a fault with wipers started with rear which would not switch off so squirted the stalk with wd40 seemed to do the trick but now the windsreen wipers wont switch off only happens now again any ideas

Try doing a search.

Been covered a couple of times a week recently. Generally the problem is caused by the rear washer leaking inside the motor and this puts the front wipers on. Permanent solution is to replace the rear wiper motor or delete it altogether. Temporary solution is to unplug the rear motor.

Other causes are the wiper relay or the stalk itself, but the rear wiper motor is the most common I think.
