Just bought a Parrot Bluetooth CK3100 unit for my car (when i eventually get it!).

Just after anyones opinions on them if they have had a parrot kit.

Easy to install.

I have a parrot fitted - ck3000 evolution - simple plug and play install.

remove stereo

Unplug ISO plug from back of stereo

Plug parrot in to stereo

plug ISO plug in to parrot

Connect microphone and run to convenient place

Connect controller ( display for you ) and place somewhere convenient

put stereo back in to dash

simple setup and bind to phone

sorted

ive got the ck3200 and as above simple fit take the glove box out so you can hide the wires theres more room behind there, mounted the mic where the clocks are pretty good piece of kit once paired with a phone on mine you can transfer your phone book for ease of use.

CK3100 is a great piece of kit. There was many discussions on fitting here back in the day.

Very simple to use, I did have issues but Parrot replaced the Screen.

I'd highly recommend them.

i'd second that, i've got the CK3100 in my S40 at the moment and everyone always says how good the quality of it is! Cracking piece of kit and as my friend who works at CPW said "its the whore of car kits it doesn't care what it pairs with"

I'll third that, I have one in my Octy and my wife got one in the audi A3 when she saw how good it was.

I've got the CK3100 Evolution and it is great

Just remember before you close everything up after install that you check that it says GOODBYE once the Ignition is turned off, otherwise Permanent & Switch Live are wrong way around (although IIRC the Fabia is ISO so should be okay using Parrot cabling)

I've got the 3200, before that I had the 3000 and they are great bits of kit.

When installing the biggest issue you'll face is finding room for the blue box and mute lead behind the dash - as others have suggested removing the glovebox makes things so much easier...

The CK3100 interface box (blue box) is the same size as the factory fitted Cullmann telephone box so you can use the factory bracket that fits behind the dash for the Fabia. I've got the factory bracket in my Octavia for my Parrot kit.

I've got one of these that I bought to go in an old car - I bought it with a loom for a Vauxhall which clicks between the Parrot ISO connector and the Vauxhall headunit - do I need a simialr loom for use with a Bolero in my new facelift octavia, or do Skoda use ISO connectors on their head units?

I've got a 3100 in my Astra, and it does exactly what it says on the tin.

The American voice can get a bit annoying if you use the kit's own voice recognition, but that's the only thing I can think of. It occasionally loses sync with my Nokia 6700, but I think that's more a Nokia issue than Parrot.

Going to fit it tonight, didnt realise there would be so many wires! This is going to be a fun couple of hours.

Am i right in thinking that the Symphony Headunit from a fabia Vrs doesnt need the code re entering aslong as it stays in the same car. Thats what the manual said (i think)

Managed to get the parrot fitted the other day and its great. Only problem is that when i disconected the headunit and then reconnected it it wouldnt work as the headunit wanted a key code!

I was told by the skoda dealer that i dont need a key code as the ECU is linked to the radio and will automatically pair...NOPE. Also checked all booklets in the service pack and there are no codes in there :(

Anyone know how to get a code for them as my only option is to let the dealer re-code it which is going to cost £30!

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I know it's a bit late but may be of use to someone. After I installed my parrot the symphony asked for a code. What worked for me (found on some website) was:

Get everything plugged in, ignition off.

Turn on ignition, then turn on stereo.

Turn ignition off, then turn stereo off.

Turn ignition on, then turn on stereo.

Wait a few seconds and it'll start working.

Did for me anyway.
