Pistonheads Fabia vRS SE Bargain or Scam ?

Featured Replies

Bet its in spain or something and they want transport costs , had 1 a while back and it was somebody going back to spain , blah blah blah , too good to be true , even if it was for a quick sale a trader would pay a lot more than that.

Scam or write off/ stolen repaired/ recovered

Defo seems to be a little too cheap for an SE, even with 60k mileage...

Hope the idiots trying this scam are caught

Number 553 belongs to a member on here, quote from the SE register.

I have number 553!

Dempsey from Aberdare, South Wales.

And this seems to tie in with the advert above.

What is going on here?

First one is ridiculously and far too suspiciously cheap, and would on the face of it, appear to have been cloned, but surely no one would so blatantly try to virtually 'give it away' on Pistonheads without raising suspicion and the resulting strong arm of the law falling upon them?

The second one must simply be a factory embossing error for the LE number, seeing as 553 is already owned by someone in here?

Am I missing something obvious here? I can't see how these two ads tie in with each other.

Please expalin to this numpty.

The PH one is clearly a scam. Will need shipping from abroad, or need over-payment and they will refund you the rest, or some equally laughable ploy to leave you with no cash and no car.
