How do I change the headlight switch in a 'Y' reg (2000) Fabia Estate 1.9 TDI.

I've taken out the panel where it's mounted only to find that the headlight switch, light dimmer and headlight height adjuster assembly is plastic welded in place.

Surely I don't have to replace the whole plastic panel??

With the switch in the off position push in the knob and turn clockwise slightly, this will release the light switch from the panel, pull out and unplug.

Just to clarify - it's the whole rectangular unit that comes out - not just the round swith part...

Mine needed a bit of help from a small screwdriver as well...
