Yes, how many active and how many of those active are actual subscribers?

Lol, if 10% of the 54 k bought FREEDOM, these guys would be getting over 50k a year from that alone. Not bad for a "little skoda forums".

If you filter the members by membership type at current it looks like we have about 612 FREEDOM members

Well what would you class as an active member? Number of posts, last post with x weeks/days etc etc?? Tell me that an i might be able to give you some numbers.

That would be my definition of active , say within a month, or more than the introduction post at least.

So.. users in the 'normal' member group, that have a post count of more than 5 and have posted in the last month = 1384

Unless someone has a different definition of 'active'??

Thats a reasonable no Alex , what does it average using those parameters over , say 6 months , or is it possible to see the average post count over that period , think mines around 3.5 a day per member.

Its normal i would think for the vast number of members to post when they have problems , i've been doing it on the fiat forum whilst jackies cars poorly , the number of social posters is fairly constant from observation, maybe getting a new car and being enthusiastic just wanes or the mods are completed .

It does mean of the active poster nearly half are freedom which is not bad.

It is quite an achievement.

Having visited an number of similar sites to Brisky recently, and had alook around, I have to say a small number are really odd, clicky personaility wise, or just rude egotistical memberships.

One site that mirrors the friendly atmosphere here is androidforums.com. All my questions have been answered politely by others, some nice banter, and almost all get on with each other.

Colin and the founders and staff past and present should be really proud of what we have here. It goes beyond just cars.

A very high number of those would be spammers, we used to have a couple a week before the new software with it's anti spam filters.

Yeah not sure how we have 7! :S One of them is ipsadmin which is just the default account for the software.

Denis. Nick & Colin are admin, so on top of you, the 2 D's and that ipsadmin one = 7
